Educational Opportunity:

More needs to be done to address the growing problem of educational drop out in Cork North Central.

Too many people especially our young people are leaving school early without gaining a Leaving Cert. I believe that we have to provide extra support to people at risk of leaving the education system early to encourage them to remain and benefit from education.

For those who have left the system, we must provide adequate, suitable training and educational supports for them so they can return to education in a way that is appropriate for them.
