Health and Children:

As well as being Fine Gael Seanad Spokesperson on Health, I am also a member of the Joint Committee on Health and Children.

This committee considers matters relating to health policy and children and youth affairs policy.

It is tasked with holding the Department of Health, the Department of Children and Youth Affairs  and the HSE to account.

It carries out its work through hearings, discussions, questionings, and presentations.
